See these pillows below...ya.  They need some help!  I have been dying to recover them for quite awhile now.  They sit on my sofa that I blogged about here .  Finally, help has arrived. For my upcoming birthday, I told my husband I wanted fabric :)  And this is what I chose.  I really the love combination and I am dying to start making them! Unfortunately, they will have to wait just a short while - we are moving into a home this week and I have to pack! The other day I visited  Recycled Consign & Design  where  Amanda shared Sherwin-Williams new app 'Chip It!'   Needless to say, I couldn't resist putting the app on my toolbar!  I think it is a great jumping point for finding paint colors for a space if you are lost, also it's quite addicting and fun to play around with! Image via Royal Design Studio Royal Design Studio is great place to go for the wallpaper-look without the cost.  They were kind enough to send me their hounstooth stencil .  I think it would be amazing on a wall (shown above) but I can't painted the walls in our current rental, so I tried something else... Stenciled Canvas I chose a pretty bold blue to offset the boring wall color and breathe a little life into the space. Because I was working on a canvas vs. a large wall I decided to be a little creative with it and have the color fade from the bottom right corner to the upper left corner. I used craft acrylic paint purchased from a local craft store, and a 1'stencil brush  (also from Royal Design Studio ).  All in all, it was a pretty quick project that I had a lot of fun working on!
