Just in time for Christmas

Yesterday, I happened to find a website that I loved.  It's called One Kings Lane .  On this website are home decor items that are marked down from various retailers.  Everyday/week the selection changes and different items are available.  I saw some beautiful things!  Here are a few of the 'bling-bling' items that I 'oohed & awed' over.  Some out of my price range, but I can dream... fiori centerpiece St. Petersburg Napkin Jewels Canvas Gold Bowl Egg Bowl Pinecone Ornament Band Tapers It seems like a fun website...could be addicting!

Etsy never ceases to amaze me. Periodically, I like to just browse different shops.  Here are few products that I thought were great!  To go to the shop of each item pictured just click 'source' under the photo. source source source I thought this shop was pretty cool.  You can buy the jpeg file of their images for $1.00 and then put the image on whatever you like - pillow, towel, bag, etc. source source source source I know, I put a random collection of items together..it's been just a random sort of day:) Is there an etsy shop that you love?

I had never been in a Hobby Lobby until yesterday.  Why?  I thought Hobby Lobby was a store where little boys went to buy paint for their model cars and to purchase paper airplanes.  I guess it still may be that, but with other craft supplies, fabrics, florals and some home decor.  The 'home decor' part was where I spent most of my time.  A lot of it was cheap, china-made, Tuscan-looking  junk  items, but there where a few other things that did appeal to me. So all in all, Hobby Lobby will be added to my list of stores to go to for inexpensive items. You have to be selective, but if it's your lucky day you just might hit the jack pot for what you need.

If you need a unique decorative throw pillow etsy is a great place to find them. I could look for hours. Today, I was browsing for a client's master bedroom. I found a couple that will be perfect. Here are some others that are totally not right for their space, but ones that I liked. They would instantly add interest and a punch of pattern to any room. source source source source source source

Friday Finds

The other night my husband and I wandered into Anthropologie. My husband would rather have 'wandered' into some sporting goods store - but we were on a date so he was being nice :) They had some really fun things so I pulled out my phone camera and snapped a few photos. I loved the chair. Can't you see that in a modern industrial-like home? Not so comfy, but who really cares... it's eye candy! It was also $1300 :) And then there was the light bulb display. Lots of bulbs strung and hung from the ceiling - great idea! I could have spent way more time looking around in this store, but I spared my husband after snapping a few photos and left. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Lydia (my 6 mo. daughter) and I decided we needed to get out of the house and take a break from client's projects, and playing on the floor with baby toys. So I just wandered into Target (ooh...I know...glamorous outing!) They always seem to have inexpensive, and lovely home decor items. Right now, they are featuring a blue and white collection. What I love about this collection is that it is transitional decor using a a classic color - navy. So to me, it is more of a color trend that will have more longevity. ***All items pictured can be found at Target***
