32 Weeks

I figured it was about time to share something with all of you... I am 32 weeks pregnant!   I meant to post about it a long time ago, but I kept putting it off and now here I am almost at the end of my pregnancy! This pregnancy has actually been a lot easier than my first one.  I haven't been quite as sick and believe it or not, my belly hasn't gotten quite as big! Here are few shots of my prego belly.  They were taken this past week while my parents were visiting. My 19 mos. old daughter, my dad, and me at the zoo in Columbia, SC Anyway, just thought some of you might be interested in knowing!
We're off to Savannah for the holiday weekend.  See you on Tuesday! source *********************************************************************** In case you've missed it - I have a giveaway going on right now!! THREE people will win an accessory of their choice! Click here for details.

Balboa Island

I love streets that are packed full with cute little boutiques. If you have been to Balboa Island in Southern California you probably know what I am talking about. I grew up going to this street when I visited my grandparents who live near by in Corona del Mar. My grandpa had a vicious sweet tooth and he would take my brothers and I to get a doughnut every morning at 'Dads Donuts.' I took these pictures a few days ago when we went to visit my 94 year old grandma before we movw out to S. Carolina in July. I could look in these shops for hours! It is a great place to visit, has anyone been there?

Cruisin'

I will be out of the blogging world for the next week. My husband and I are going on a cruise--I can't wait to be in that sparkling turquoise water!

Welcome Home!

When my husband and I visited Italy almost 4 years ago, one of my favorite stops was the island of Burano. It is a fishing village where all the homes are brightly painted. They are painted this way so that the fisherman can easily locate their homes at the end of the day. Great idea! Here in the U.S, I love to see brightly painted front doors on homes! This splash of color adds so much personality to a home. It makes me want to go knock on the door & meet the person that lives there! If your home could use a little face-lift, painting your front door a bright color may just be the place to start...and it just might help you find your way home:) Sources (top to bottom, left to right) Domino Magazine 2 3 4 5 6
