Bright & Colorful Living Room E-Design

Recently, I completed this warm and colorful E-Design Package for a client. As with all my E-Design Packages, the process begins with the client filling out an online questionnaire and emailing pictures and measurements of their space. If you are interested in more detail on how this process works, check out this blog post  and visit my website . My client already had her major pieces of furniture in her living room. She just needed accessories, art, window treatments and accent tables to complete the space. She also needed help selecting paint colors.  Below are all the 'mood boards' that I emailed my client. This mood board basically shows all the art, accent pieces, pillows, lighting, rug, and drapery panels that I suggested for her living room. Below shows what I suggested for her kitchen.  Her kitchen was mostly cabinetry so not a lot was needed.  I suggested a rug, a pretty colorful vase with flowers for the island, and some small art piec...

For the Love of Pillows!

Can an interior designer get enough of beautiful pillows?  I don't think so! Pillows are like jewelry for a room.  They add so much character, charm, interest to a space.   I am working on a new E-Design  project and decided to select the pillows first and then begin piecing together the room from there.  I wanted to get my clients input on what she liked best so I put these 3 different pillow combinations together for her to pick from: My client said she liked all three options, but decided to go with option #1!  Time to start selecting other items for the space!

Recently Completed E-Design Project

Hi there!  I just wanted to share a recent E-Design project I completed.   E-Design is great for clients who would like my help with designing their home that do not live in my area.  All communication is done via the internet (and phone calls if needed).  The process begins with the prospective client filling out an online questionnaire.  Once reviewed, I email back a quote to complete their E-Design Package.  If  accepted by the client, I then email any additional questions I may have, ask for measurements or additional photos. I also email a contract for the client to sign and email back. To learn more click here . Below shows the E-Design Package my client received through email. Every E-Design Project I deliver comes with a 'Source List' of where to purchase everything.  It includes quantity, pricing, and purchasing specific notes.  I miniaturized this page, because the only person who gets to know...

Project Peek

Just a few years back, I helped a client decorate their little girl's room.  Well, that little girl is getting bigger and it is time to get rid of the crib and bring in the 'big girl' bed. To see all the pictures of this room, click here . Below is what I came up with  - all via email, as we now live across the country from each other.  Everything has been ordered, I'm excited to see how it all comes together:) If you need help designing your home visit my website , or email me at mboyerinteriors(at)gmail(dot)com .

Project Peek - Boy's Room

Remember this room design I showed you awhile back? As I mentioned, I had to make a few changes to the design.  I found out there was a blue and red race car toddler bed that would be used when 'baby boy' got to that stage.  So instead of using orange, I switched to red.  This way the red/blue toddler bed would match the room when the time came to use it.  Also, I received further clarification on the doing a race car theme - It needed to be Formula 1 race cars.   This is what I came up with... The family that I am doing this design for lives in Utah where I used to live, because of modern technology (thank you)  I am still able to help them.   Here is a sampling of the drawings I emailed to them to illustrate the design: If you are interested in my design service, email me :)

Boy's Room Design

I have been working on a boy's room design for a client.  The client wanted a car theme (not too overdone), and the color scheme was going be blues, oranges, and greens.  Since picking out these items there have been a few changes to the design (that I will show later) but I thought I would just post this design because I think it turned out quite cute. If you are interested in design services email me at rooms(dot)interiordesign(at)gmail.com ****************************** Also, TODAY is the last day for the 100 postcard giveaway (I know I said that yesterday, I got my days mixed up, and then corrected my mistake in the post below:) Click here  to enter.  You will be sad if you don't :(

Navy and Yellow Bathroom Design

This is an e-design board that I have been working on. I love how bright and welcoming it feels. (You need that on those occasional drowsy mornings to get you going!) The yellow zebra-print wastebasket is from here . The tree art is from here . If you are interested in e-design email me at rooms.interiordesign@gmail.com
