Bright & Colorful Living Room E-Design

Recently, I completed this warm and colorful E-Design Package for a client. As with all my E-Design Packages, the process begins with the client filling out an online questionnaire and emailing pictures and measurements of their space. If you are interested in more detail on how this process works, check out this blog post  and visit my website . My client already had her major pieces of furniture in her living room. She just needed accessories, art, window treatments and accent tables to complete the space. She also needed help selecting paint colors.  Below are all the 'mood boards' that I emailed my client. Which color are you immediately drawn to?

My Master Bedroom Update

Awhile back, I posted about picking out colors for my master bedroom.  There were two different directions I was thinking of going.  To see the post click here .  Well, I decided on a color scheme - Navy, Aqua, Green, with pops of purples/berry tones. I already purchased the two green fabrics (for throw pillows) along with the navy striped fabric (to recover two king-sized shams).  The sewing has began, and more pictures to follow! If your closet is full of clothing in earth tones maybe you would like your room being decorated in earth tones. **Build your room around a starting point piece - something you love. This could be a pillow, art, rug, etc. Look at what colors are in that piece and start putting your color scheme together from there. **Flip through a couple of current home decorating magazines and see what jumps out at you. *Look at other rooms in your home (if you are not completely starting over or in a empty new home). You want to have color flow in your home. This does NOT mean you want the exact same color scheme in every room. It just means you want to incorporate ...
