Hang doorway beads (these one look like small metallic rings) above the bed.
Run upholstered head along entire wall instead of just length of bed.
Paint the wall with chalkboard paint & write a story, poem, saying, etc.
Hang patterned fabric.
Paint a headboard.
Paint wide horizontal stripes.
Hang graphic wall paper on the wall behind headboard.
Paint the wall a bold color and place matching mirrors above nightstands (This one probably works best if you have an intriguing headboard as shown).
Put up beautiful wood paneling (I do not mean the 70's looking paneling!).
Place an over sized map on the wall.
